Welcome to Sherry Gail's Quilts. I started quilting at the age of 14. Taught by my Mother and Grandmother. I still do it the old fashioned way, in a wooden frame, suspended from the ceiling. I cut all the pieces by hand. But do use a sewing machine to put the blocks and stripes together. All the applique work is done by hand. All the hemming is done by hand. I may not always have a large selection to choose from, but doing all this by hand can take some time. I also do "Memory Quilts". Using the material from a Loved One's clothing to make a quilt. It is something to cherish for many years. I look forward to hearing from you, if you have any comments on my work. Have a Blessed Day.
